West Indies suspect England may already be mentally 'on the plane' before tomorrow's crunch World Cup Group B match.
England's winter odyssey may be about to end in a whimper, and Windies captain Darren Sammy is well aware some of the opposition number could already be hankering for home.
England must win at the MA Chidambaram Stadium to avoid adding early elimination from the World Cup to a 2010/11 CV which includes a first Ashes success in Australia for a quarter-of-a-century but also almost five months on tour with a break of less than a week back in the UK.
West Indies, for whom destructive opener Chris Gayle is fit to play after an abdominal strain, have no such issues.
"It's a good time to play England," said Sammy, whose team have won their last three matches.
